Indigo Yellow is a local indie band from the city of Hull. The band originally formed in 2011 with the name "Some Other Guys", but due to creative differences between the singer and the band in late 2011, they shrank into a 4 piece.

Looking for a frontman became a grueling and daunting task for the band, as every singer they auditioned was not what they wanted. The band really came into their own in 2012, when a young dynamic singer/guitarist called Shaun joined the ranks. The band was now a complete 5 piece, playing mostly covers.

In late 2012, the keyboardist decided that he no longer wanted to be part of the set up and walked.

With Shaun now in their ranks, the band became "Indigo Yellow", a 4 piece upbeat heavy indie rock band playing their own original music.

Their songs comprise of melodic crunchy distorted guitars with heavy funky bass from Adey and Daz providing the beat.

The tracks currently being recorded for their first album tell a story of Dave's depression and the low times in his past which he is now over.
